Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We never made it to Supermacs, although if we managed to eat AGAIN after the feed we had beforehand there would be something very wrong with us.

Such a good night! I'm looking at the photos on my camera, hilarious! As the night goes on we look worse and worse :D

"no adverse effects..." Beer Baron said...

my wife wasnt too impressed with me when she entered the bathroom and discovered i hadnt flushed after getting sick last night, i only then remembered i didnt flush because i couldnt find the flush handle that was supposed to be on the side, i'd completely forgotten that we got one of those button flush toilets a few weeks back! :o

woke up this morning with a throbbing headache, furry tongue syndrome, thought "geez, i really musta pushed the boat out last night!", checked my pocket and i still had €30 from the first €50 i broke in o connells! :D

i only had like my usual four drinks, two in o connells and two in the blind pig, halfway thru a fifth bottle though as my memory comes back to me, musta been the extra half that done the damage! :p

how soon can we do it all over again? :D

You were stumbling going for a smoke when I was leaving the pig. I thought you wouldn't handle much more booze. Seems I was right. Sucking down some Tyskie right now!!

The Locke? Mad busy, cold outside, but still good craic.

O'Connell's? Running out of craft beers! Nice spot by the fire though.

Blind Pig? Very impressed with my first visit. :)
I remember the Aspal Cider was 7%, and the Shepherd Neame/1698 stuff was 6.5%, and after that things get dizzy! Who can tell me what exactly was going on with the drink described as "snow beer"?

snow BEER? i thought it was snow BALLS, haha, because i was there thinking to myself "who the hell comes up with the dodgy innuendo names for these things- galway hookers, belfast blondes, snowballs...", really gotta get my mind outta the gutter! :D

i think the easiest one to drink though was the 1698 stuff! :)

me being some numpty then i goes-
"what do i call this when i ask for it at the bar?", expecting some unpronounceable german name,

    IO- "1698?"...

    obvious is obvious! :D

My arm was kinda vaguely sore yesterday, couldn't remember why until now-

A certain boardsie was demonstrating restraint techniques on me, and I seemed to enjoy it at the time too :o :pac:

You should have tried that technique on the creepy guy who kept changing seats in The Blind Pig. He looked like he was going to pounce on somebody but I don't know whether it was male or female he was eyeing up.

Hahaha brilliant I'd forgotten about that, as they say be careful what you ask for, as you just might get it... :-D

I'll be honest with you. I still have trouble putting usernames to peoples faces who were there on the night.

A picture with peoples names on it would help. Real names and usernames.

Alsakimo and Eclectic. Your real names and usernames are easy because you have breasts so stand out a little from the rest. :D

I have a brilliant picture from the end of the night which would help but I don't think anyone in it would thank me for posting it. Without exception, every one of us looks at best a biteen special, at worst positively deranged.
