Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Astec Alarm won't leave engineer mode

    Hi,

I am having some ongoing issues with my alarm. It has been going off randomly throughout the day. I have been setting the alarm to engineer mode while I am in the house. When setting the alarm I am then bypassing the zone with the error.

Yesterday when the alarm went into engineer mode, now it cannot be exited with 99. Every time I try to exit it displays:

    99 Engineer
    INFRARED
    CALL
    FAULT

There doesn't seem to be any way to get past this.

    Any help would be great.

    Cheers

It is telling you there are PIRs on the system that need to be enrolled. Enter command 70 to id the PIR or PIRs on to the system.

    Your welcome,
If the PIR is to be off at night it is set in command 30.
If it is to be an access zone it is programmed in command 31.
