Unlocking a phone

    Yes, i have read the FAQ, but i have a question that is not answered there.

    I'm getting a phone for herself for xmas, but the color she wants is network specific. I can buy it from certain sites unlocked in the color she wants but it's a good bit more expensive.

    Anyway, i was going to get it on x network and get it unlocked (it's a HTC Rhyme). My question is, can x network block the phone (blacklist maybe) if they see that i've bought it and there's a sim from y network using it?

    No they wont. I bought a BlackBerry 9900 on Pre pay from O2, unlocked it immediately an used it on the Three network. It's never seen the O2 network. No problems
