Not able to download XBOX Live Update

    Hi guys,

    Tried to d/l the XBOX live update yesterday but I'm having some problems. I keep getting an error message with this status code 3524-0000-0080-0300-8007-2741

    This status code is not listed on the downloading troubleshoot page on xbox.com (http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live/marketplace-and-purchasing/download-xbox-live-content).

    Just wondering if anyone else has been having the same problem? My xbox has been a bit buggy of late with other updates for Batman and COD.

    If you do a google search for the error code, there are a few topics available. No with a definitive answer although most are pointing towards and issue with ports being blocked on your router/port forwarding not forwarding enough ports.

    A workaround was given in a few to download the update to a USBkey direct to your PC then install from that....

    2741 is a connection issue. Try to open your ports or download the update from the xbox.com website

    Cheers Guys. Was able to sort out the update by adjusting router settings. Still not sure why I am having problems with game specific updates though.
