    back again lads!

a mate asked me to build a new pc for him so i need a hand with the parts. he has max 1000 inc. delivery to spend and he wants the build to cost as close to 1000 as possible :)

all he wants is the full tower (no monitor or peripherals) although he does need windows 7 (he's a student so i'll get it from software4students.ie for 50 quid) so that leaves 950 for the build. hes doing an IT degree in college and he loves his gaming so a mix between power and a decent gpu etc would be cool.

    cheers!!

As for softwareforstudents . i was looking at that for an OS as well however they are all upgrade versions as far as i can see. Which means no good for a fresh build. If you see otherwise please let me know because i am looking.

You can use the upgrade to do a clean install. There's loads of guides on the net to do it.
