    I have to draw up a mixed concept system with notation.
    This is basically a tree diagram where things are either a part of something or a type of something.
    I'm having trouble with the notation .i.e. 1.1 ,1_1 etc.

    I've attached a simple but rushed and messy example.
    red = type of
    green=part of

    I've no idea what to put on the very last one. - electric purple
    Should it be 1_1 because it is made up of two parts = electric blue + red?

    Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!:)

    (Forgive me if this is not the right place to post this, I didn't really know where else to and thought researchers might have done this kind of thing before.)

    What you have said is a little vague, but my first suggestion was that it should be 1.1.2.2. In any case, you had better make the connecting lines straight in the final version (and the diagonal lines at 45 degrees).
