Surely most family things don't take up the entire weekend though and you could get in a date on either the Friday night or Saturday/Sunday avoiding the family thing?

They don't, they're both on Saturdays. Fridays aren't a go-er as he works on Saturdays. Will suggest one of the Sundays, but I was just making the point that even at that, we're into June before we can meet.

It was going well until my date got her phone robbed crossing the ha'penny bridge. Some scrote grabbed it out of her hand as she was texting and legged it, chased after them but I have no stamina or speed as they were damn fast so lost them down Strand street so that did but a shadow over the evening.

Shame about the Fridays as I am not a fan of Sunday dates myself. Sunday is my get my sh*t together for the week ahead day.

Yeah little scummy gits they are. We carried on with the evening anyway to try and take her mind off it and have a good time but it was still a bit of a shock for the poor girl and it just made me so angry so not the most romantic first date.

The Master... What are your midweek plans for Post POF singles meet up?

I am shocking myself here. I haven't logged into a dating site for, I can't even remember how many days. of course POF hasn't been alarming away like mad either.

Yeah thats the way unfortunately OKC has a much better design but a severe lack of people

It's bad form for guy's to be sleazy with women online.
    I'm glad I didn't inherit that gene :)

My profile is totally honest no hidden agendas.
I don't want any kids,I'm not looking for anything serious, and I'm not into long distance relationships.
I like women and known plenty and yes they can spot the bull**** straight away.

    OK Cupid.

If you think POF is bad for sleeze don't bother with Smooch... It is hookup city.

Have a date on Friday. Although with the way things have been going for me lately, he'll probably delete his profile before then... anyway, I've kind of come to the conclusion that I don't really have time for dating anyway. Another guy asked me out and I was like, erm, when?

This weekend - study (apart from Fri, hopefully!)

    Next weekend - exams

Weekend after - Heineken Cup final

Following weekend - wedding in Italy

Weekend after that - family thing

Weekend after that - another family thing

Weekend after that - away for the weekend

He doesn't live in Dublin so a weekday evening isn't really a go-er. Sigh.

This weekend - no study Fri so he could meet you then

Next weekend - exams - good reason not to be able to meet

Weekend after - Heineken Cup final - Doesn't a match only last a couple of hours not a whole weekend!!!

Following weekend - wedding in Italy - good reason not to be able to meet

Weekend after that - family thing - may or may not involve the whole weekend

Weekend after that - another family thing - may or may not involve the whole weekend

Weekend after that - away for the weekend - good reason not to be able to meet

I really think if someone wants to meet up they will find time

    Good point!

    In other news:

Tumbleweed for me on POF at the moment. But I just think of this and then I remember I'll never be truely forever alone. :p

What I cant understand about that post is the fact she says the guy will delete his profile.
ffs in all fairness if I was him I would block her profile or ignore her.

Busy busy I'm so important sounds like a right diva LOL

A guy like me could spot that BS " I'm doing this that and the other"

In other words hang on there like a good man and ill get on with my life but if I change my mind ill be on to ya.

That pretentious Celtic Tiger attitude is still hanging by a thread :(
