Yea got that kind of message before myself. Backhanded compliment anyway

I got something similar but not so harsh. I was along the line of 'you must be very fussy'.

On my OKC account, describing my plan to get two mice, name them Pinky and Brain, bulk them up with steroids and use them for world domination before feeding them to my dog so that I have all the power seems to be garnering a lot of responses.

One guy sent me an extremely long email talking about the specifics of why it wouldn't work, but offering to help me. :pac:

Clearly, making myself sound like a nutter is why I'm getting dates.

I sound pretty serious in it, though! It doesn't sound like I'm joking around! I legit sound like a fruitcake.

Yep, got that too! some guys can send you a message and be so negative and putting themselves down, that I think "how depressing would a date with you be"?? :P

The guy I'm seeing tomorrow got the first message because his profile was funny and the conversation was about saving the world and other super hero activites for the rest of the afternoon. Sometimes the best way to go is humour.

I joined pof a few weeks ago and am pretty much done with it already,
why do women think they can get away with putting zero effort into their profiles? two lines of "I like music, food and tv" err, what kind of music, well we all like food, if we didnt we'd die, and what kind of tv? is it that hard to list some specific stuff you like? its like every woman on there expects men to do all the work, fcuk that, if you cant be arsed writing about yourself or "arent good at this" then dont bother. the people I take interest in are the ones who put some bit of effort in or are funny. "I like reading" reading WHAT? books? magazines? shampoo bottles?

I was not. I'm sure there's someone out there thinking the exact same about me.

    Just got the following:

"Hey how's things? Brian O'Driscoll posted one of your photos to his Twitter page. Bit weird that I know that?"

    Yes. Delete.

I also got my obligatory daily "Wud u lik to suck my c0ck?" message from a 20-year-old who's looking for a "cougher".

    How I laughed...
