Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have a Dell laptop and recently the wifi signal has been dropping in and out. The little wifi logo pops up with the red circle on it, disconnects then connects within a minute or so. It really bugging me as I cant stream radio or anything. Anyone know what the problem may be or how much it may cost to rectify it? The signal is strong and not dropping on either of the phones, just the laptop.

Wifi and wireless phones use the same frequency, try changing the channel the wifi uses on the access point.

disable/re-enable the wireless NIC and if that doesnt wotk maybe update or re-install the drivers

If none of the above work out a replacement wifi NIC could be got for prob (lots) less than 15

I'd say get a replacement wifi card - very easy to replace ......

changing the frequency channel on the router should sort it... typically the router is defaulted to channel 8.... choose a different channel number.

to scan and detect all wifi signals in range use http://www.netstumbler.com/downloads/

it will tell you all the channel frequencies for any wifi signal in range. then adjust your channel number on the router to one that is not on the scanned list.

Also if you use 2.4GHz signal senders for skyboxes they will interfere with wifi routers. if that is the case upgrade your signal sender to a 5GHz version.
