    Great round from Peterson

Peterson is physically stronger, will be a problem for Khan the longer this fight goes on

I'm glad the guy on Sky has shut up about this 15lb ever since Peterson settled in this fight.

First good big fight I've seen in ages. I'm only a 'big fight' fan not much of a boxing fan. Only 4 rounds in but 3 really good rounds, beats the usual bullshít I've seen in recent months.

One or two wicked bodyshots there. That will take Khan's speed away.

Khan's getting drawn in very easy, is he trying to prove a point?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,951 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Still think Khan will find the killer blow. Peterson doing really well though, starting to deal with Khan's speed alot better and fighting his own fight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,380 ✭✭✭✭nacho libre

Peterson's greater strength is starting to show too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

Khan is cracking value for money in fairness to him

He is exciting but vulnerable too, always an exciting mix in a fighter. good heart too.

He is just too easy to tag though, that would be my hear about him

khan is an accumulative puncher more so than a 1 punch KO artist

the longer this goes on the worse it will be for him, the boxing skills will need to surface quickly. Peterson will match Khan in that department i think

Yes. it's the speed of the combinations from Khan that does the damage. Peterson is tough though. This may well go the distance

Peterson is such a tough ****er.

Peterson by 2 points so far for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

Khan has a good chin in fairness but is susceptible to being wobbled when hit on the temple

one point deduction there for persistant pushing in the clinch

The commentators on Sky are so disgustingly biased

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,380 ✭✭✭✭nacho libre

Khan's speed has disappeared. Peterson is dictating the pace now.

The commentators on Sky are so disgustingly biased

its understandable being a british broadcaster, but in fairness they have been unbiased i think, they are giving Peterson his dues.

This is going the Maidana route, but this time its with precision

Khan won't have a long career if he fights this way all the time wear and tear won't be kind to him.

Peterson covers up well . surprised khan doesnt use the uppercut the way he covers up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

    Another Peterson round,

Khan looks to be close to running on empty, always running away too which will go against him if it goes to the wire.

Khan would be beaten badly by mayweather he is nowhere near ready

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

This is a great fight for watching,

Swinging one way then the other! Some great exchanges.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    what a fight

I dont think Mayweather would hunt him down though, that where Khan has problems. Fighters that just keep coming give Khan nightmares

Khan v Ortiz would be a great fight, if Ortz had the heart Peterson had then he'd batter Khan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Peterson's right eye is getting closer to closed with each round!

Aye, Peterson is like a machine in this, just homing in on Khan all the time,

Could be a deciding factor if it gets to the vote.

For me Khan needs a 10-8 last round to tie it. Be amazed if he doesn't get the decision anyway though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

There is nothing in this for me,

Whoever comes out and gets this round could well have it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

If not tonight Peterson will be a world champ someday soon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,380 ✭✭✭✭nacho libre

Peterson is relentless. If this fight is judged on ring generalship. Peterson wins. Although with Goldenboy involved Khan will get the nod.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

That could be the fight now, another point gone from Khan.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,380 ✭✭✭✭nacho libre

Khan deserved that point off as well. He's been spoiling consistently.

Khan is like the Calzaghe of old quick in and out, pitter patter punches

He is overdoing the running, it wont look good for the judges

Peterson is the agressor for 90% of this fight

The Sky lads are making out Peterson is having the night of his life, this lad was immense in his draw with Ortiz aswell

    Khan has lost this lads

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,951 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Think the point deductions have swayed it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

WHAT A FIGHT! Peterson should get it in fairness.

    draw
