    Hi

I know I'm a bit late with this query but due to not watching news (or not taking in news from any media whatsoever) I heard only now about the legal strike: solicitors and barristers walked out of the courts, I was told.

What actually happened? Was it just solicitors or what? What was it about? Was it money?
(And as an aside, I'm wondering what the average income of a reputable and established middle-aged solicitor/barrister would be about....pm me & will discuss:)!)

It was about the reduction in legal aid costing.

Alan Shatter has said he will take steps to ensure nobody gets paid for that day in respect of cases that had to be adjourned.
