Calling any guitarists who have used or own a boss rc 2 loop station. I am considering buying one and I was wondering if I was playing live could I record some backing, play it back, pause the backing and then start it again without having to re-record it? What I have in mind is the bucket by Kings Of Leon... could I record the intro chords, loop them for the verse, pause them for the chorus and restart them for the second verse without re-recording. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

the RC2 should let you do that

the trick will be maintaining the tempo during the chorus so that when you restart the loop for the second verse it doesn't sound odd.

have fun - they're great craic to play with

Yep - the RC2 can do this.... Can also record 12 different loops so can have multiple songs set up.
