Buying bass amp advice

12-12-2011 10:53pm#1Looking into buying a new bass amp. Think I'll go somewhere from 350-500 W to cover all eventualities in case of big gigs. And hoping not to spend more than 450. Then again, not sure if wattage is a good all round indicator or available volume.. Must admit I'm fairly ignorant on the technical side of things here, so any advice is much appreciated.
