How to find landline number

    Hi,

    Its late....cant ring eircom to find an answer so hopefully someone here knows.

    I am moving into a rural house that has neither a house number nor house name. My address is/will be my name and then the town land locality. There are about 15-20 houses in the town land.

    The house has an eircom junction box.....question is how do I find my landline number in such a case? How would they know what house to enable? Is there an ID number inside the junction box???

    hi if you have a landline phone already eircom will trans fare it to your new address hope that helps

    plug in phone, if you hear a dialtone dial 199000 and listen
