Magnet Fibre to the Home; switch

Anyone know what the story is with Magnet's FTTH switch ? Can it be replaced with something more functional ? Ideally, something running linux that I could do VLANs with. I'd love to have one device terminating the fibre, and split into external & internal network ports, maybe even doing wifi... John
