Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you have another car as your main driver - probably.

You'll only know for sure when you make the calls, though.

i think it also depends on car no ? has there not been cases where the insurance company stated a car was merely and old car rather than a classic.
To me the Corrado would be - to most it's an old car, to insurance companies who knows ?

I'm thinking a Corrado would be somewhat special - it's kinda sporty in the way a hobby car might be (I'd like one!)

If you were trying to insure a taxi-special 1990 Nissan Primera or something, it would be different.

wanabe, make you sure you let us know how you get on.

Not all cars are automatically assumed to be classics based on there age.
You have to ring the Insurance company & ask if they classify the Corrado as a classic - Most will not, same way most won't insure an escort cosworth as a classic. Both over 20 years old.

But shop round & you might find one that will. I ensured my old capri through the Irish vintage club & had a classic policy on it without issue.

So did I but from what I could gather the decision as to whether your car was a classic or not was down to the bloke who runs it and wouldn't be all that open to suggestion if you get me !
