I just can't believe the Jags traded up for him. I hope they draft a proper QB this year. Try get Barkley or RG3.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Ah that's nice...Jags get to score!

MJD is incredible. He's running great on a team that can't even make a vague threat out of being able to pass on opponents.

Terrible Thursday Night game, what were NFL Network thinking picking it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Do you actually think they have the choice in picking the game?!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

Saw nothing wrong with Brady and the OC going at it last week as I saw nothing wrong with collins and the DC this week, different in that Brady gave some back of course, but where is the problem with passion? Happens all the time anyway at all levels of sport, people want to win or they wouldnt be in the game. Now and then this will lead to emotions boiling over

It was actually good to see the Falcons play well in the first half and how bad the Jaguars are. But other than that it was indeed poor.

I read that the new Jaguars owner Khan, has not met any of the players or staff yet...that's an odd one.

3 jacksonville games on tv this season is bewildering tbh!

Really looking forward to the Monday night game.
Cant wait to see how the Chargers fair against the Ravens defence. Ryan Mathews having a great year, like to see if he can keep it up against Suggs and the rest.

Anyone reckon Tampa Bay might do the business against the Cowboys tonight? Can't see it myself.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,238 ✭✭✭Justin10

If Tampa can get their running game going I honestly wouldnt be surprised if they do beat Dallas. Never be able to have faith in them winning any game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 453 ✭✭Denners.ie

Buccs defence must be absolutely shocking to give up 41 points to the Jags. Cowboys will piss the money line tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,475 ✭✭✭KaiserGunner

Really hoping for a Bucs win tonight, a Skins win against the giants on Sunday and of course the Eagles to beat the Jets. Would make things really interesting in the NFC East, cant see it happening though. Never over till its over though.

Cant see past the cowboys ..
Have a little punt on Witten first TD @9-1..
If that does not come in i will return Cecil Martins laptop for the reward....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

FFS Freeman...hard to keep putting faith in you when you do sh1t like this!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 146 ✭✭clare ny

Lol hoping it would be called on the 1 but they prob have run it in ....
Romo really putting between the numbers tonight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Shoulda just left it at your Jones bet from Thursday!

If Bryant had got his block there that woulda been a TD!

    Terrible from the Bucs!

Have to say, its an absolute joy listening to Mike Mayock commentate. I dont think anyone analyzes the game aswell.

Major improvement on NFL Networks commentating team last season.

Really like the way the Sky Sports panel interact with the audience by reading out lots of tweets, emails and texts.

Taxi for Rahem Morris! Another coach that will surely be gone soon enough.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

As much as I fancy at least 2 INTs from Romo in the 2nd half. I'm off to bed. Morris to be fired by Monday.

    Get In Bucs!

    Come back on :pac:

Not as if the Bucs have just rolled over...they've had a terrible first half and have come out in the second like a different team!!

Or the Cowboys who were up by 28 let human nature set in and let their foot off the gas. I expect that now the Bucs have come back closer the Cowboys will up their game again and pull away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Romo getting stripped sacked and that returned for a TD isn't taking the foot of the gas! And the Bucs TD drive was very impressive!

    Now its prob game over!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    That's that then.

I enjoyed it despite it being all but over after about 8 minutes.

Cowboys were superb in the first half. Romo on fire and 3 different receivers scoring TD's. Much better performance from Tampa Bay in the 2nd half in fairness, but it was far too late by then.

I have to say I feel a bit sorry for Freeman. He's still very young and that O-line in front of him might as well not be there. It must be hard for him not to get frustrated and let his head drop every week.

Anyway, that's me off to sleep looking forward to a big day of NFL tomorrow.

    Redskins +6 @ Giants
    Packers -13 @ Chiefs
    Vikings
    Seahawks +3.5 @ Bears
    Dolphins @ Bills -2
    Panthers +6 @ Texans
    Titans @ Colts +6.5
    Bengals @ Rams +7
    Lions @ Raiders +1
    Patriots @ Broncos +7.5
    Jets +3 @ Eagles
    Browns @ Cardinals +6.5
    Ravens -2.5 @ Chargers

Stuck a fiver on an accumulator for every game today. Obviously, I don't like money.

I like a lot of the spreads today, but I would go for the Dolphins, Titans, Bengals, Lions, Patriots and Browns instead of those you chose and wouldn't bet on the Steelers game.

Watching ESPN, one would be forgiven for thinking there was onle 2 games today - Tebow vs Brady and The Packers vs 16-0.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19,341 ✭✭✭✭Chucky the tree

Not to be outdone by Peyton

    Giants -5.5
    packers -10.5
    Saints over 53.5
    Seahawks +3.5
    Dolphins over 40.5
    Texans over 45.5
    bengals -7
    Raiders +1.5
    Pats over 47.5
    Eagles -3
    Browns under 37.5
    Ravens -2.5
    49ers under 38

    €1 for a nice christmas.

Giants, Packers, Saints, Seahawks, Bengals and Titans in the handicap markets all look good to me.

No chance I'd touch the Patriots playing in Denver. Nothing to do with Tebow either, its to do with a certain Tom Brady having a 1-6 all time record vs the Broncos.

Not being a nitpicker here but isn't it 2-6? Regardless it's a worrying trend. Biggest memory of the two meeting is Ben Watson's tackle. Awesome stuff.

Nope Bill is 3-5 against the Broncos Drew Bledsoe and Matt Cassel have the other two wins I think. And isn't Brady 1-5 against them?

    5er on Packers (-11), Giants (-5.5) and Saints (-7).

    Returns around 30 quid.

Brady is 1-5 regular season, 0-1 post season I *think* - open for correction there

1-5 regular season and then that playoff loss which should never have been. Remember that one? ugh it still hurts, should have won that game.
