Closest air rifle/clay pigeon shooting to Waterford?

    Hi there, can anyone tell me the closest location for clay pigeon shooting/air rifle shooting to Waterford (somewhere nice for a day out)? Thanks!

    There's a good clay shooting place at Bishops Mountain. I haven't been there in a while, so I hope it's still going.

    Head up the new Dublin motorway towards Mullinavat. Take the exit for Mullinavat, but right, towards New Ross. Go on a mile or two, and you'll get to a crossroads. You'll see 3 white standing stones in the field to the right of this crossroads. Go right there. It's a bit down this road on the left.

    I'm not sure about if there's a rifle range there though.

    Is that Gene's place of shooting and fishing in Ballybricken?
    Might be worth calling into him and asking about it .

    http://www.whiskeydelta.net/ this might be of interest to you. its the local airsoft site in Waterford 10 minutes from the city centre, games are run every weekend. 10 am till 5pm , in the saleens from ages 12 and up, rentals are also available. its something different and well worth a look !!
