Jerry Fish returns to Dublin for a one night only special show at Whelan’s of Wexford St. on St. Stephen’s Day, the 26th of December, his first Dublin show since three sold out shows in The Sugar Club last year.

Jerry Fish is one of Ireland’s most enigmatic performers with a reputation for dynamic live shows. For a one night only special show Jerry will be performing songs from a career spanning over two decades, including material from his forthcoming new album. The evening will also include a brand new band, the most eclectic bunch of musical chameleons ever to share a stage.

Jerry Fish’s swaggering vocal has been described as Tom Waits in a good mood, or Leonard Cohen doing Dean Martin. Yes, the smiles come aplenty and witty lyrics are definitely Mr. Fish’s currency of choice, but Jerry’s songs have been so well crafted that they deserve more than a casual, amused listen.

His last album ‘The Beautiful Untrue’ is ‘one of those records that raises the cool in the room without breaking a sweat.’ ‘Jim Jarmusch would pawn his brothel creepers for the rights.’
