Gonna buy a Philips Electric Razor for my OH for Xmas Looking at this: http://www.boots.com/en/Philips-SensoTouch-2D-clean-and-charge-electric-shaver-RQ1180-22-As-seen-on-TV_1222418/ Is it an alright one? Can it be used in the shower? Can you use foam/gel with it??

yes, it seems it can be used with foam/gel and is sealed for use in the shower.
