Irish Property tax and Properties owned in another EU Country

    So ive been reading about this property tax and it say that you have to register and pay 100 euros for each property you own but it doesnt say anywhere if this is for properties you own in the state or all residential properties you own In the EU or indeed all properties you own worldwide.

    I undertsnd that you pay local taxes so if you have a property in say, spain, you pay all those taxes in spain but this charge isnt really a tax as such so im confused??
