Changing from one account to another?

Just was considering changing my username to phill, when i saw that it was used already. When i looked into the user though, I found out it was me! I can get the password etc resent to me fine, but if i did want to change to phill, is there anyway to merge the 2? I like the earlier register date and name of phill, while…
