Has anyone been able to negotiate a cheaper contract with Eircom BB?

    Im currently paying on average €55 a month fro Eircom BB & Line rental.
    I never ever use the phone.
    In this day and age, that figure is too much.
    I checked bonkers.ie and it looks like I can get Digiweb @ the same speed with line rental included for €39.99.

    Has anyone been able to get money off their Eircom contract after speaking with their Customer Support?
    If not, how easy is it to switch from Eircom to Digiweb?
