Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Haven't used one but judging by where its bolted on it looks like a diverter valve meaning the lift arms wont work while it is being used, or they will drop if carrying a heavy load and the seal in the lift cylinder is not in the best condition.

I'd like to know some more info about them. Has anyone on this bought one?

I havnt seen that exact one before but I do remember our local mechanic mounting two spool valves on the right mudguard of a 35 and they were probably better placed than that one for working a powerbox or something, have no idea of cost though. A very handy addition to a small tractor though no doubt!!

    Dear MR
This is a great tool it takes the leaver out from under the seat I have a model where you have to reach under the seat can be a bind.
It also makes better usability of your machine.
Here is a Picture of the one I use http://www.soggers.ca/tractor.html it is 3/4 ways down the page it can be got here http://www.vapormatic.ie/hydraulic-parts.ashx#part_list
Also need to watch do you need double or single acting ;)
    Hope this helps Attie.

i bought a 35x and want to run my log splitter of it. that valve would do my job cos i have a valve chest on it but what about a small tipping trailer or if i put a power box on it,it wouldnt work right because you have to switch the lever over and then pull lift up full so its constant pumping.any other way around this:confused:

Looking to do something similar to a David Brown to work a hydraulic toplink. Anyone do something similar? Any chance of a few pics to see the set up

When is is bolted on and turned on, does the lift go down on a 200 series massey? If it does then its pretty much useless for a top-link, power box or bale splitter.

    Dear Mr
Not to sure about 200 series just letting you know how I find this diverter on my 35, after all we are talking about a 30/40 year old tractor.
If your lift is in good condition the arms will stay where they were when you " diverted " the oil from them. Attie

We had something similar to what Attie referred to above for a Quicke loader on our 135 - I didnt find moving the lever under the seat too awkward to be honest.
The lift arms did stay up when you changed the selector, for a loader that was fine. For a hydralic top link, would you need to use both the lift arms, and top-link at the same time? Might be more awkward?

What is listed on donedeal I dont really get - there seems to be a selector, and then a seperate arm for controlling?
It seems expensive at 300 euro - does it allow you to use both the lift and valves without changing the selector I wonder? Is this possible?

I know Rossmore did a db 995 for a farmer I worked with many yrs ago, so it can be done, maybe give them a ring. You will need a spool pack, and somewhere to return the oil.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
