Summer party in Winter idea

    I'm thinking of holding an indoor "Summer party" and I was wondering what would be the best theme to go for, Hawaiian or Caribbean style?

    Also what would be some fun ways to decorate my apartment.

    I hate winter with a passion :)

    Hawaii theme is great and easily done - think bright flowers, garlands, cocktail umbrella's, inflatable coolers. Tiki bar ideas, inflatable palm trees (I have one if you're interested) coloured shirts, etc etc.

    If you dont mind tht mess, you can place some sand in the bathroom, inflatable shark in the bathtub (I also have one of these) ;0)

    Best place for props and ideas is the 2euro stores - check the party sections and also hen / stag areas too. Cheap and useful and effective. You'll have lights already for Xmas so that should add to the effect. Surfboard or two around the place - the only limit is your imagination.
