I'm going to say it now. Whatever the result today we are going to look back on this game and it will define our season. Are we still the team that could never win ugly or are we really challengers.

    Huge 20min ahead.

Bastards at BBC just game me a heart attack.

1639: Tottenham are pressing hard for an equaliser as Kyle Walker's cross screams through the middle of the penalty box in front of Rafael van der Vaart who hasn't quite got the legs to get on the end of it.

Us pressing for an equaliser when we were 1-0 up last time I checked :confused::mad::confused:

Ledley plays = clean sheet , same old story :-)

Great win with no wide men and a poor performance. We wouldn't have won this last season and one before

Nice one. Awful performance, but we got the win, so can't complain too much to be honest.

    Now let's hope Lennon's injury isn't a bad one.

Huge three points today. To say we needed it is an understatement.

So what to we want to happen in the other game? Personally, I want Arsenal to win. I want a title challenge!!!!!! :)

Can't wait fir that Chelsea game now.

Yeeeeaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Great game from a Spurs point of view. One thing that really impressed me is that the team don't seem to panic. I don't know how many times in the last 10 minutes we played the ball up from the back when even last season it would have been hoofed to the front 2. Fantastic result and not a bad performance.

Considering we have the 3 points now - are we too upset if the Gooners beat City ?

That was us attacking last season with Crouch up front.

In fairness no result in the other game is "bad" using my head you got co hope for city but for the moment im letting my heart judge these things. Common Arsenal!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,776 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

Happy City won. We're never going to mount a serious title challenge, not this season anyways. What we need most is Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal to drop as many points as possible.

VDV was very good today made some good passes and put pressure on Sunderlands Midfield I was also impressed to see Sandro and Ade at one stage tracking back together

Surprised no one commented on the performance of Sandro on Sunday,he was absolutely brilliant, especially in the second half made some unreal tackles. We have to hold on to him.

Delighted to hear that. I was in work for the game unfortunately. But I love Sandro and rate him very highly. It would be great if we could find a good way to fit everyone into our standing XI!
