    Yup, go to Euro 2. Remember that HDMI is a digital cable and therefore is not affected by external noise.

    Or, in other words, buy the absolute cheapest one you can find and never fall for the "gold plated" nonsense :)

    Aldi do the cheapest certified ones that I know of (in the secure cases at the tills). Absolute cheapest may not work properly at high bandwidths.

    we've a pile of them from the Euro2 store for various things, consoles, players, tv's, tablets, and all work 100% and have done for months...

    Read the specs. Generally aldi/lidl sell certified v.1.4 spec although 90% of people and apps will do fine with 1.3. High framerate 3D usage will tax v.1.3

    Fair enough, didn't even know 1.4 was out yet. The only reasonable difference seems to be native 3D support. Clock rate is the same as 1.3.
