    Hi all,

Looking to piece together a machine over the Christmas from some old bits and hopefully a few new shiny trinkets :D

    The magickal questionnaire:

    1. What is your budget? €250

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Light gaming/Audio editing/*some* video editing

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Nay

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? IDE DVD-RW(?), GFX Card, Monitor, Mouse/Keyboard, HDD

    5. Do you need a monitor? Nay, for now

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 1280x1024 - Probably will upgrade in about 6 months

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Nope!

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yeahp!

    8. How can you pay? Any

    9. When are you purchasing? Now

I'm thinking I might get a SSD and install Windows 7 on it. From looking around, most agree that 32Gb won't be big enough. Any recommendations?

I'll need a chip, PSU, and case. I'll use a 1GB DDR5 GFX card I have for now, and I'm thinking I'll stick the 2 items below in....any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I'll probably order from dab.ie too!

    Item|Price
Total build cost: €134.94 (inc delivery Free!)
    Kingston 8GB (2 x 4GB) HyperX DDR3 1333MHz DIMM 240-pin CL9 Blu|€42.33
    Asus P8Z68-V LX S1155 Intel Z68 DDR3 ATX|€92.61
