    Just wonderinng wheres the best place to start boxing in galway..What kind of prices do they charge .etc

    The Galway Boxing Club in Westside is where I started out.Excellent club to start with although the Olympic Club is better if you want to box competitively (it's where Frankie Barrett who boxed for Ireland in the olympics trained)

    It's beside the community centre and opposite the petrol station in Westside..

    I know its not boxing but The Galway Kickboxing Club in Westside community centre is worth a look 5 euro per night Mon Wed 7-9 pm Fri 6-8pm. Great bunch of lads and ladies. Beginners always welcome.
