Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Put up a sticky that says "IPhone 5". And in it say "we don't know what t will look like but it will have most of the spec of the ipad 3". Then lock it and don't allow any other threads about the subject.

    Problem?

    If you look at the first post you will see this thread was started by a moderator last december,hence why i posted in it yesterday, for the specific reason of not wanting to start a new thread.

    Stickies are a waste of time. Everyone ignores them. It would be better if there was just a single megathread for all rumours/speculation about the iPhone 5 with all new threads merged into it.

    I wouldn't necessarily say that, they did call their 5th gen phone the 4s.

    I think you and I had this argument before, and as I said last time, that makes no sense. If Apple thought this way then they wouldn't have called their fifth generation phone the 4S.

    Original - Major Revision - Minor Revision - Major Revision - Minor Revision

    Apple are creatures of habit. They'll number based on what major revision they decide it is, not on what release of the phone it is.

    See your all assuming Apple care about numbers. But they have shown with iPods they don't. They also name there devices. The Iphone 3G, Well because it had 3G. Plus now 3rd G iPad is rumoured to be called iPad HD.

    So I reckon the next iPhone will get a name not a number.
