First timer with post problem

    Hi guys,i need help!
    bought everything from hardware versand 1 month ago.
    i got five beeps on P.O.S.T and found 1 bent pin on socket. returned motherboard to hardware versand, and received replacement yesterday.
    we put together the pc and still have five beeps. we do not know what the problem is. is there anyone in the newbridge area that could have a look.
    Its for xmas so getting very close.

    Post your full spec if you can,just to make sure everything is compatible.
    Your mobo booklet should tell you what the 5 beeps mean.

    Also,did you check the CPU to make sure it didn't damage it?

    Try running 1 stick of ram,psu,on board graphics if you can,1hdd + keyboard and mouse.

    I have removed mobo from chassis just in case there was a short,but problem still exists.

    Try running with the following, out of the case:

    Motherboard
    CPU
    1 stick of RAM
    Keyboard

    Also make sure you have both power supply cable's connected (the big and small one) to the mobo.

    Its says its a GPU issue,you tried running off the on-board GPU yes?

    Got it sorted
    I only connected 1 4 pin connector (cp) instead of 2for the processor
    The mobo manual says 1should do and looking at the shape of the connector you would think it would not fit but it does.
