    Jeez did I finally get one? I travelled the country once, but the Celtic Tiger gave it a complete makeover and I recognise no place now! Furthermore I'm computer illiterate. Somebody else have a go. Can you tell me please, how do you lift photos off google map and transfer them to here?

    Open Google Streetview and find the view you want. Then take a screen print (press the Print Screen button on your keyboard). Then open MS Paint and paste the screen print into a new file. Now save it, make edits to get rid of any detail that makes it too obvious (you can scribble over words etc) and Bob's your uncle.

    Finally, as Duiske says: Upload image to http://postimage.org/ When uploaded just copy and paste the forum link here. No need to register on that site.
