I'm not a member of an athletic club and due to other commitments haven't time to join one.
I've been running a little over a year now and still enjoying it, I've had a few races so far.
    Waterford 10k fun run Sept 2010 52.15
Waterford 10 mile run for life 2010 01.22.30
    Anne-valley 5 mile challenge 2011 38.40
    Strawberry half marathon 2011 01.43.33
Waterford national half marathon 2011 01.43.33
    Waterford 10k fun run 2011 46.18
Waterford 10 mile run for life 2011 01.13.40
    Dublin City Marathon 2011 03.48.27.
Waterford annual half marathon DEC 10 2011 01.38.40

Yes hard to believe it's only a little over a year and I've DONE Dublin.
I gave 6 months training for Dublin, Running 3 times a week ( sometimes 4, but not many ) and that was it a lot of my runs were on my own as I work shifts.
I'm planning on running the Waterford marathon the end of June next year.
the plan is to start training properly again the first week in Jan.
What I'm wondering is, if I follow a training plan would it be feasible of me to expect to break 3.30 or lower, and if this is realistic is there a plan available to download that's easy to read and follow.
I was thinking of starting at 9th Jan and have booked a 10 mile race the end of Jan ( am aiming for 1.10 )
    Thanks for the help.
