I'm thirty and not a hill walker per se, but I have done bits and pieces over the years and I'd really like get into it more. So can anyone suggest a good club I've been looking here. I'm not shy of a good challenge either so adventurous clubs would be welcome, thanks.

Most of the bigger clubs would have members who would range from people looking for a short stroll to real mountaineers. I'm not aware of any that has an official "adventurous" section as such, but once you joined a club you should meet people who would share your interests and they'd usually plan trips themselves. Unfortunately the age range is old enough, so bear that in mind. The bigger clubs would be the Wayfarers, Ramblers, Glenwalk & An Oige.

I saw a list of Walking Clubs for all across the country in the Walking World Ireland Annual

most people join a club to socialise.
if you live southside I recommend the Glenwalkers. Norhside there are clubs as well.
