Choose the EU Presidency logo for 2013

An online poll has been launched to select the logo for Ireland's presidency of the European Union in the first half of 2013. People are asked to log on to www.eu2013.ie and choose between four designs: connections, wave, spirals and logotype.

So..what image would you choose/photoshop to best represent the Irish EU Presidency??

Spirals are probably the best of a bad bunch but tbh none of them are great.

Awful choices.... lots of typical 1990s design on show with three of the four choices... but I love the marketing speak besides this naff 1970s lettering one:

"...this logo uses customised letterforms to create a modern and fresh identity..."

Oh marketing company, playing fast and loose with the words 'modern' and 'fresh', aren't we?

Still, I voted for it as it's the only logo of the four that gives you that momentary "Oh my God, have I just developed dyslexia?" moment.
