Dunno if this is the right thread or not ...basically was at the strawberry hall out in the strawberry beds in Dublin for their usual Monday night pre Christmas session. Damien Dempsey dropped in and sang for a bit. I was enjoying it all but a about three eejits went up right in front of him and started recording him singing and taking pictures. It's like in the modern world we can't enjoy the experience for what it is, it has to be recorded and looked back on. I found it really rude. It was in a tiny pub and it totally took away from it being a lovely intimate night. They were blocking loadsa people's views, looking at him through their camera lens rather thatn taking a step back to enjoy it in real time. Rant over!!!
