Hi all, I was thinking of buying a small bolt hole in the west of Ireland but am having second thoughts with all the new property tax's coming in. Does the government propose to tax all properties both main residences and second homes at the same rate? Thanks J

They probably will do. Plus you will have the NPPR to pay which will probably go up next year, as well. Not to mention what the Propert Tax will be like in a few years time.
