M&S have loads of tights in different types and colours, they might be a good bet

The last time I was in Penney's they had some? Topshop usually have a great selection too

You're probably sorted by now, but Top shop on St. Stephen's green have cream / off-white opaques right now.

Also you could try 2nd skin in the Powerscourt centre or the Marilyn stand in the Ilac centre (one of those free floating shops like the pick and mix shop), sells tights and leggings. They do cream opaques also.
