N33 Car Park

    For the past few years, there has always been around 20 cars parked on the N33 at the M1 (junction 14) end. Does anyone know why ?

    I think its usually people that drive there, park up for the day and get a lift from there with someone else. Suppose it makes sense 2 people making the same journey, only wasting half the petrol. Not very safe leaving a car on the side of the road tho

    Same as the link road from Ardee, people park up at the junction and get a bus or a lift to Dublin, really should be small car parks placed at the junctions to keep them safe.

    Happens Dundalk South / Ardee exit.

    There were reports earlier in the year about cars being stolen from this road (and other similar "parking areas"). Guys were seen loading cars up onto a truck, nobody passed any heed as they looked like legitimate workmen. Seemed to be most interested in higher spec cars.
