    I hope "soon" means "this afternoon" and not something like "at the end of next week".

    I'll be pumped for Wilco which seems a certainty at this stage but hopefully they have some other excellent big acts.

    Also, I saw someone on Facebook talk about people complaining about the "drink situation" at FF last year. I've never been before so what's the story with that?

    do a search here, it has been discussed a lot. Apparently there were really long queues and not enough bars or they may have even run out of drink etc...I'm not 100% sure but have a look in the archives.

    "Soon" is that the best they can do? as a great man from Manchester once stated "How Soon Is Now?" is this run by the same people as Electric Picnic? because the way EP leaves its fans hanging till the last minute on line up timetables ETC is a disgrace!.

    POD like doing a "launch" in the evening for these type of things, so I would imagine it will be a Tues or Weds night in the next few weeks.

    on the Saturday last year, apparently the cooling system in the main bar broke at the start of the day, so it took a long time for them to serve people, which lead to massive queues. it seemed more like they underestimated the demand though IMO.

    on the Sunday, it was fixed, and they had additional bars selling cans, so there were no issues that day.

    The cooling problem was genuine and not so much a case of PR bull to cover up for too few bars/not enough booze to meet demand. No cooling system meant warm beer on a hot day and only a few of the taps had cold beer, hence the huge delays. It was a pain in the arse and I wouldn't no return to the festival as it could happen anywhere. No doubt they'll be extra careful on that side this year.

    Someone mentioned on the EP forum that they couldnt give any names as yet but five of the artists going to be announced have played Electric Picnic last year.

    I was gutted when Bat for Lashes didn't show up for EP a few years back! I'm glad that she is playing. Can't wait for Grimes! and I've been impressed with the little I have heard of Peaking Lights.

    Ahhh what day are DCFC gonna play then you twitter-jerks? :anxious:

    Extremely meh lineup bar RSAG and DCFC, JVMcM, Wilco. 2 of which can be caught for a tenner in Dublin handily enough.

    I have never seen New Order so I definitely want to go (plus, on that day there is for me the big bonus of Austra!!!!)
