I had a meltdown at the dummy working in tesco and freaked out demanding a manager and he goes off and gets another general assistant and I freak at her and tell her to get a manager so she goes looking for him but clearly he didn't wanna come down near me so she's like "the manager said that we can rectify that blah blah blah". I'm like oh that's great thank you very much, but I still want to speak to the manager.

Omg the boy was SCARLET. He's like, you're so rude. Please just shut up for the love of Christ.

And he'd be the very one that'd turn around and say "if it bothered you so much why didn't u say something" if I kept quiet and ranted at him about it.

Rest assured tesco headoffice will be getting a disgruntled phone call from me tomorrow morning

That's the thing it was a simple mistake - a pricing mistake that I wouldn't even usually care about -- cause it happens all the time in tesco. The convo goes something like

Me: excuse me, hi, this seems to be scanning in at the wrong price.
Him: no, if it's scanning in at that price then that's the price.
Me: it's advertised as being half that price (I was buying 3)
    him: that must be finished.
Me: you guys have a refund double the difference policy, on anything that's charged more at cashpoint. Why are you advertising one price and charging another? Can I speak to your manager?
Him: there's no manager here unfortunately.
Me: (arched overly arched eyebrows so high they coulda been in my hairline) excuse me??

I think he knew I was getting mad cause he's like "eh there's a supervisor over there".

So, he goes and Checks the price and comes back and says there's a mistake, now I'm demanding a manager and the boy is fuc king scarlet.

He sends over this girl with limited English and I launched into a rant and she's being really sweet so I feel kinda mad bitching her out of it. She goes checks the price and says it's their mistake and what do I want them to do?
I then notice she's a "general assistant" an I got my accusing voice out to say "you're not even a supervisor", I want to speak to ur manager so she goes lookin for this manager and like ages later she comes back and is like, the manager says you have them at the price advertised. "Thats great, thanks. Now can I speak to the manager".

So, off she goes again, and when he finally arrived he recieved the storm fury.

Now my fiancée thinks I'm a mental bitch

^^ Well Fair play but if you do that in the UK they just Think your a fuppin nutter and call security. their law is over there. Doesn't matter what the shelf says its what the till say if you dont like, it dont buy it. :D

Ha scarlet I'd be too. Though if their policy is double the difference and they were advertises at half the price then you really should have got them for free. With your finance you should bring them back and demand you get them for free.
