how many laptop??

    done a quick search but unsure what to search for:o

    how many laptops can work off a eircom broadband wireless box without inter rupting the speed??

    also would a playstation interrupt signal??

    Well that depends on your bandwidth. You could run many laptops of of a NGB connection as long as all they are doing is browsing. If doing downloading or uploading then thats a different thing altogether. One could saturate the bandwidth and slow down the entire network for everyone else. The playstation would be fine also.

    technically speaking, up to 253 devices can connect to a single home router network, but you're not likely to get much in the way of speed out of it with that many connecting at once and you might well microwave your brain if you've got 253 wifi signals transmitting around your house. :pac:

    in reality, the number is going to be more than you are likely to ever use, but contributing factors will be the quality of the router itself and the connection it has to the internet, as well as potential interference from other devices using the 2.4Ghz spectrum.

    in a home setting though, it should be fine.
