Hi folks, trying to get to grips with my moisture meter. When I stick the prongs in I get a reading of say 15% which then jumps to 20% or so. WHich is the right figure? Big difference Cheers Matt

I would imagine its the 20%. Iv never used a moisture metre so I'm not certain either

Most Pin type meters will read the moisture at the surface and as you push the pins in the readings will change.
