    What kind of games do you have in mind? There's plenty of free games around.

    Strategy -
    Command and conquer tiberian dawn, red alert and tiberian sun are free.

    There's a load of multiplayer FPSs -
    Alien Arena, urban terror, warsow, FEAR multiplayer, Nexuiz, TF2, Wofenstein Enemy Territory.

    Racing?
    Tux racer, trackmania

    You sicken me begging for free games, People who I have meet playing steam are great and would gift you games, but it seems like this post is like so many on reddit also of people looking for entertainment from other people for free.

    Enough of this. Some games on Steam are going for peanuts (especially during the sale), and you can get lots of non-steam games for free (see Monotype's links above). Also keep an eye on the Gaming Bargains thread at the top of the forum.

    If anyone really wants to gift a game to the OP, send him a PM.
