Ipod/Iphone docking & alarm clock

Hi,
I'm wondering if there's anything like the ihome-ih51-mini-system-with-alarm-clock-radio/ that will also charge an iphone?

I'm looking for something:

• to put by my bedside desk/stand. It's not massive.
• that can charge my iphone 3G and ipod
• play my ipod
• has a clock display with time and an alarm clock.
• good sound.

What I really like about the Ihome is that the speakers can be placed apart and it has a subwoofer.

I've got a Philips thing from Argos for about 55 euro that's excellent and compact

Cheers I saw the Philips one, nice compact size. But I want one with a bit better sound.

Just ordered this today, looks like good value, can hardly go wrong at the price! Anyone else have this one?

Hi, I acknowledge that this is only loosely connected, but is there any universal connecter that I can get for my ipod to play in the car. I've a 06 Corolla - is there any connector that can use the lighter, like a phone charger used to.
