Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Your user account, and any apps you may have installed that you don't want the new owner to have. Honestly if you're selling it, it makes sense to just do a clean install of Mac OS from the discs that came with the machine when you got it. That way, any information that might have been on the machine will be deleted.

Be very careful here, a simple format will not make all your data unrecoverable, far from it. It's very easy to actually recover data after a format, look into DBan to wipe the drive and then reload OSX

In fairness, if he's selling it to Joe Bloggs, they won't be looking into data recovery to see what dirt they can get on the previous owner. OP, if that is a concern, use Disk Utility on your Install CD to securely erase your hard disk.
