Believe it or not, 'weather' and 'thumb' both have the letters 't' and 'h' in them; whereas 'radar', like 'weather' also use the letter 'r' and 'a' which does show that all three words have something in common. And although 'radar' and 'thumb' don't actual share any of the same letters, if you mirror image the 'b' in thumb, you get a 'd' which is in the word 'radar'.
