Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Which order to get these hair tasks done? :)

    Hi guys!

    I need some hair help!

I currently have very long hair (naturally wavy / curly)

I got it dyed black a few months ago, so that is well on its way to growing out. My natural hair colour is light brown / mousy blonde.

I want to get the following done to my hair:
    • Get rid of the black
    • Go to a much lighter colour, like my natural colour, with some highlights
    • Get a few inches off it, with a possible fringe
    • Get a 6 week / 3 month straightening treatment on it

How should I approach this? Should I get the black stripped out, and then the highlights, then the cut and the straightening application?

Which order would be best for my hair?

I know its a lot to do at once... just need some guidance on how to start!

    Thanks so much!

Have your hair stripped to get rid of the black.
An all-over colour to get back to similar to your natural colour.
    Highlights.
    Cut.

I'm not exactly sure where the straightening treatment would kick in. Maybe after the highlights? Although perhaps you could leave it for another day 'cause stripping is pretty harsh on your hair etc.
