did anyone have there email accounts send emails to contacts?

iv just logged into my hotmail account and have seen 4emails in my sent box that i never sent they were sent on wednesday and i wast even online:confused: the emails are just site links to some scam about money how do i stop this or how did it happen?

Your account was hacked. Change password asap.

Check for an out of office message as well.
