Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there any diploma that would give me a qualification in Applied Maths

I am a fully qualified teacher of Maths but I have had difficulty getting work and Im thinking of keeping busy by doing a few extra courses. I have heard alot about OU course that upskill maths teachers but are there any similar courses for teaching applied maths??

Before someone says that I shouldn see Applied Maths as an easy add on subject, I dont. I have experience of teaching from Dominick Donnellys book as part of the fetac maths for engineering course. I found it really interesting and it gave me a broader understanding of maths applications. So even if it never got me a job, Id like to have a better understanding of Applied Maths, as it was something that was assumed or ignored in University.

Any advice at all would be very welcome :)
